Installing Sol 7 on a p133 on an 8GB harddrive. Everything seems to install ok.
When it starts to reboot the machine shuts down and the reboot sound comes on but nothing happens.
If I then reboot and have the configuration assistant disk in the drive it will work but I must have the disk in the drive everytime I boot up. Also everything is initialized again as if it was booting up for the first time.
This is what I have attempted to solve the problem:
Formated the harddrive;
Removed all partitions;
Made the disk into a solaris and a dos partition;
One other note: Option 2, jumpstart, doesn't work. Get a message can't find rule in rule.
Hi,

Is your HDD SCSI or IDE?
You may want to check that the HDD is the primary boot device. Hope this helps
