Hi there!

I've got a problem configuring the Linux client to get an IP
from the DHCP server, I can connect from my win98, no probs, but with the linux box there is no way.

I've copied all the network stuff, like DNS IP address etc. to no avail.

Any suggestions?

The card works fine on any other box?
It ain´t broken?
Is it loaded correctly during boot-up?
Can you see anything regarding eth0 during start?

type ifconfig -a
do you have any ip adress on the card?

run netconf or linuxconf. change the settings on your first controller (eth0) to automatic instead of manual.

Just a couple of thoughts.
/Sören
