I usually try to use a hardware based RAID solution, but in this particular case, it was not seen as an available option. I decided to mirror two identical IBM Deskstar Drives with w2k Diskmanager MMC. After completing the mirror, it mentioned I have to enter something into the boot.ini to boot off the new drive incase of a failure. But it didn't say what I needed. I am assuming it has something to do with the boot device. I haven't covered this in my course yet, can someone help me out?

You will need to edit the boot.ini file to reflect the new boot path if you installed Win2K on any other parttion other than the C: drive. When you mirror 2 drives, the second drive is no longer available for use. I t is just the backup of the first. James Collins
