Hello everyone;
My newest computer has no external HDD activity indicator (hard drive LED). I remember using a utility a while back on a Mac that would put a flashing pixel (or several) in the corner of your screen to indicate drive activity. I have been searching for something similar for my WinXP Pro box but haven't found anything. Has anybody here come across such a utility?
Thanks in advance.
Tony

Hi,

Pardon me for being stupid, but I would have thought that your NEW PC would have had an LED light. Maybe it is just disconnected from the motherboard....why not open the case and check if you have not done so already.

Otherwise, look for a program called DiskOS Monitor....if I remember correctly it did something similar

Cheers
