SOE and Iclid blocking outgoing calls

I have an SOE 4x8DSx16vc and so far it blocks outgoing calls when I configure it for Iclid. Gets a busy signal and hangs up the line. Tried 2 different boxes and both do the same. Getting ready to upgrade to 3.1.48 on 3.1.29? now. Think that is the version. Anyone else have this issue?

Weird! Please let us know if this goes away after the upgrade. Have you reported this to Avaya?

May depend on where you are, who the line provider is and what the line type is. Each has different rules about what they will allow to be sent as CLI - some will strip invalid CLIs/some replace invalid CLIs with the line number and some just drop the call.

Use monitor to try and see what CLI is actually being sent, ie. does it match what you expect, and try to find out what the line provider's rules are.

Actually I think you may have misunderstood me. When ICLID is turned on outbound calls are blocked not incoming, The caller ID is fine but they can no longer place outgoing calls.

I will be opening a Another Ticket with AVAYA;-(

I love this product but wish they could get some of these bugs out faster.

I will say they seem to be improving the trouble shooting with every new release...
