I need to find a working socket script to connect to another machine and have full handling to the second one.

i'm not sure tek-tips is the best place for you to find this - try one of those free script barns. if you have a question about how sockets work, or something along those lines, i'd be happy to help. "If you think you're too small to make a difference, try spending a night in a closed tent with a mosquito."

Maybe Net::Telnet can do what you want.
