Does anyone have step by step instructions on how to set the G430 to send traps? We're running an S8720 with CM 5.2.1.
The G430 docs have commands, but no clear steps to get the job done.
Thanks,
Mike

Maybe no one is sending SNMP traps, but here's what we came up with that is now working:

Log in to your G430 then type the following:

ip snmp
snmp-server community read-only <g430trap> read-write <g430trap>
snmp-server host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx traps v1 g430trap

Where <g430trap> is the community on which your network manager is trapping.
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of that network manager.

Let me know if it works for you.
