Hello everyone,

I am looking for the OID that allows you to see the IP address of an interface, without knowning IP address. I need this becuase I want to setup a script that checks that OID and alerts me if my Dynamic IP changes from my cable provider. Does anyone know how do this through SNMP? I'm sure I could parse it out through a script that telnets or SSH's to the router, but the SNMP way looks like it would be much more straight forward, and less taxing on the router. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.

I'm running IOS 12.2 Enterprise.

Thanks,

Burke
