Have replaced all the SNI baords . howver still the problem persists.
Have duplicated SNC boards. not sure If i can have only one SNC in active mode.

Can we set only one of the SNC to be active

Many thnks for help

only one SNC is active at a time. You can specify a particular clock using the command 'set switch-node-clock 1e12' or whichever slot is standby.
Your errors are against slot 1e15, which also has the highest error rate. Concentrate your troubleshooting against that board

At one time (around V6 to V8), their was a problem with the switch node clocks. The switch would see the standby as active and the active as standby. The way to resolve was to "sta swi" and look at what the switch sees as the active clock. Then look at the cabinet itself, and see which one was active (yellow light on the active). If it is running on the board the switch sees as standby, pull the active SNC board and that would swap it to the right board. That is what it took to resolve this, and yes I had to do this quite a few times until I went on to later versions of software.

If this SNI pair is associated with a T1 connected EPN, you should look into the health of the T1's and their associated CSU/DSU. It could be introducing errors for you.

Unfortunately these cards create peering relationships, so when one is not doing well, they all get alarms of their own.

Do a 'list fiber' command to see the connections for the EPNs, and to see which connection the 01E15 SNI board is associated with.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)
