Snap to Guidelines

I want the Snap to Guidelines option always on. I tried the Tools&gt;Options menu and ticked Snap to Guidelines in the Grids and Guides section. But when I open a new file, the Snap to Guides is always off.<br>

I found it. In the Tools-Options-Documents section, first you have to click which changes you need to save and then proceed for individual changes.
