SMTP Connector (Cant send emails)

Ok new to Exchange!

I have setup Exchange 2003 I have moved my mailboxes over from Exchange 5.5.

I have setup the smtp connector as of this web page:

I chose to use DNS to route all the mail through this connector, this server can nslookup external dns.

When I try to send emails I can't and when I check the queues the SMPT connector shows:The connection was dropped by the remote host.

What do I need to do to resolve this and send emails?

Have you tried using your ISP's smarthost? Also, try doing a manual SMTP send to determine if it's Exchange or something else - details on that at
