SMS SQL Database

Hi,
I have created a fragmentation report on our SMS 2003 SQL 2000 Database. I found a lot of fragmented files in there and I'm thinking of performing a defragmentation.
Good or bad?
Something that I should consider before doing this?

Seems to me this was something I had to do on 2.0 sp4-5, it took forever but went well, Just make sure your backup is good. I also defragged the virtual mem drive if I recall this right. It did help quite a bit. I also believe I had them run at a reboot before windows loaded.
