SMDR on a MICS 6

I have a client with a MICS 6.0 with a PRI that has been getting quite a few calls where the phone will ring once or twice and by the time the receptionist gets to answer it the caller is gone.
he thinks is the MICS causing the issue, I have tested the system with out finding any issue, I have called the CO and had them monitor the PRI "which is running error free" no problem found there.
I think is just people misdialing and/or hanging up.
they get 5 to 6 a day sometimes a few more, they have advertising all over the city on bus stops and billbords.

if I install an SMDR unit will the unit show records of lines ringing but not being answered??
 
do they have caller id / ani coming in the PRI?
 
I believe after 1 ring and a hangup the smdr 6 will print it out. I have a site set up like this, but no-one, including me, ever looks at the call accounting computer.
 
i believe pri requires a cta 100

Why not just use your "call log" if it captures the id it will show on the log.
