Recently, I installed WordPerfect Office 2000. During installation, I received a warning that there were so many fonts installed on my system that I should consider deleting some fonts. So I did. First question is can the fonts I deleted be restored as it turns out I only had a little over 100 installed and as I understand it, trouble only begins when you get near 500. Second, the text (not the e-mails) in Incredimail and Outlook Express is smaller leading me to think that both programs rely on a font or fonts that I have deleted. If all the fonts I deleted cannot be reinstalled, can the font(s) relied upon by these two programs be identified so I can download them from the Internet. Thanks in advance for any help on my questions.

The default font is the Tahoma font I believe. However the application use of fonts should be controlled by your settings in the DISPLAY PROPERTIES under the APPEARANCE tab. You may want to check your settings there. joegz

Thanks for your reply. The font box under the appearance tab is grayed out and nothing is this box. How do I change that and where do I get the tahoma font. The site where I obtained other fonts doesn't have it.

I had a similar problem, my Arial font got corrupted somehow and made everything look Italics. I reinstalled that font and all is normal again. So my point is that Arial was the default for mine.
If you do a search at Yahoo or whatever engine you like, for arial.ttf or tahoma.ttf you should be able to find a direct download for your font.

Thanks for the help. I found the Tahoma font, downloaded it and installed it. However, now I need to know how I can ungrey the font box under the appearance tab so I can select this font (or Arial) as the text in Incredimail and Outlook Express is still small.

The font box stays grayed out until you select an ITEM from the pulldown menu that has a font you can adjust. What ITEM are you selecting in the APPEARANCE tab? joegz
