Silly question but have you also installed any SP's?? I have found that native XP won't support USB2 unless SP1 is installed.

I would also do as rvnguy said and have a look for other drivers (did you not get a drivers CD with it?? I know on my HP laptop I have a drivers cd that I simply insert and it installs all of my drivers for me.

well the point is that the driver cd is lost and i installed the first 4 driver in that page and i still have those yellelo question marks !! i did not install any sp. The cd is 2002 xp pro version. Is it necessary to install any sp . I heared sp2 is not very good. Thanks

I have had no issues with SP2 at all, infact I built a new machine this weekend which had missing USB until I installed SP2 and then the drivers.

Whoever told you SP2 wasn't very good wasn't talking much sense in my opinion.

The CD should also just be called Windows XP rather than 2002 XP Pro version.

As for being necessary to install... yes because they contain fixes and improvements to the OS, it's also well worthwhile doing an update at windowsupdate.microsoft.com as well.

Never leave your computer unpatched if you can help it. Sure if it's going to never get on the Internet then by all means but if there is any hint of it going on the net then patch it to the hilt.
