I have 5 servers using my 'unscoped DA' for reference.

All I entered was slpda list and it mentioned that the module was entered re-entrantly. Then found that the slp broadcast was turned off... turned it back on.

And now when I look at rconip I can't see that server which is my slp da... though all my other servers are synchronising ok with it and recognises that da's ip as the slp da.

I admit it has been awhile since I set it all up but could someone tell me how to bring up the slp da server back on rconip? Also some link to point me to an slp config howt...

I learnt the most
when I stopped talking...

It's an rconsole-style remote console program that uses IP. Much better and faster than rconj.

I can't help since I just used "rconip servername" to access it and haven't tried getting a list.

Yeah, i did some research on it.. One thing I saw though, was that other people that commented on it said that SLP doesn't seem to work with it.

For example, "Great - thanx a lot for a good product.
Only problem we have, is that the DA's do not show up on the list. If anyone has suggestions for solving this, please mail ..........."

Anyway, of all the remote tools I've used, I prefer AFREECON from Very lightweight and fast. Beats the hell out of RCONJ.

Here are a couple of good posts that talk about SLP:

I thought there was another one recently but can't find it.
