slowness when using cfwindow?

I asked for a site critique in thread253-1490188, and in there a few people have noted that the initial site load is slow due to large JS files being cached. I use the <cfwindow> function as the 'contact us' form.

Has anyone ever had an issue where using the <cfwindow> causes the site to load slow? If so, how did you remedy this? Is this is a known issue? I did a Google search on this and haven't been able to find this issue elsewhere.

I guess no one came across this issue, or no one uses <cfwindow>.

In any case, this is an issue that others have noticed as well. I contacted Ray Camden to see if he came across this (or others have and asked him about it). Unfortunately, there isn't much anyone can do about this. One can minimize the JS files that ship with CF, but it won't
help a heck of a lot.
