Hi Experts,
My Win2K system's shutting down and restarting takes too much time compared with my friends' equal systems !After the shut down or restart command(s) it takes, at least, for 1 minutes and 40 seconds until the power will be cutted off or restarted. Also, during the shutting down process the hard disk is "churning" clearly audible way.
Just once there has also been visible on the monitor the blue screen with the following message: "Dumping Memory".
That all above has occured ever since I installed (and removed !) the Tweak UI version for Win2000 on my computer just a couple of weeks ago.
So, what's the matter with my Win2K system and how to correct/remove the problem ?
Is there probably something wrong/corrupted/changed/damaged in the registry or/and in the system settings ?
Some basic details of my system:
CPU:Compaq DeskPro EP 6500+; 500 MHZ Pentium III
OS:Windows 2000 Professional, Build 2195, SP1;
HD:10 GB
RAM:256 MB
Video adapter:Matrox G 400MAX (32 MB)
Display:Compaq V1000 (21")
Thanking you in advance for your kind help and advices.

Best regards,
Matti Miettinen
