Hey all,
I'm having a strange problem with a particular pass-through query from Access 2003 to SQL Server Express 2005 suddenly running very slow. It's a stored procedure which I can get to run in about 5 seconds directly on SQL, but it takes at least 3 minutes to run the exact same query via a pass-through query in Access. The problem also started suddenly a few weeks ago, it was running from Access in about 6 seconds until then.
I have many other pass-through queries in the database which are fine and run at normal speed. I have tried creating a new pass-through and running the same query with the same result. The same thing happens on my test machine at home and all the workstations at my client. As far as I'm aware there have been no changes to drivers or versions of Access (they run a combination of 2000, 2003 and Runtime 2007 on their workstations, all having the same problem.)
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
