Aug 18, 2004 1 #4 jazgeek IS-IT--Management Jan 29, 2004 541 check your odbc connection is using tcp-ip and not named pipes. check to see if your computer is resolving via broadcast or via dns analyse for spyware as listed above check for unnecessary communication protocols such as ipx/spx, netbeui, appletalk etc ensure service pack and dex levels are consistant with the rest of the network clients upgrade if necessary to 100baseT if you're on 10baseT slow login is usually due to network communication problems. ----------- and they wonder why they call it Great Pains! jaz Upvote 0 Downvote
