Hey all,
I have Vista 64bit and I'm connecting to a 1tb terrastation.
I've been trying to move files off the terrastation as it's been giving me issues and I don't want things crap out.
Well the terrastation only has 600gb of data on it, and i've been transfering since last week. As it turns out I discovered that using an FTP program is a little more reliable then a direct copy.
What i've noticed though is if I restart my computer and transfer I get lightning transfer speeds for about 2 hours. Then it drops to a dead crawl for no reason. There is no other real network usage and no reason for the crawling speeds.. Once I restart the computer again I'm good to go for a while..
MSKB says there was a hotfix, and a fix in sp1, and since i'm running sp2 there shouldn't be an issue..
any ideas?
