Slow backup after restore 1

I have a 2003 Server with Veritas 9.1.
The last 3 times I have restored a file from backup, the next nights backup has run REALLY slow... as in 711,788 bytes in 18 hours!
Any ideas what could cause this? Normally, backups run fine. But it seems that I'm not allowed to do a restore.

u need to install Hotfix 18 -
