My machine is an IBM 300XL, 64mb ram, 233mhz win95, office 97 that opens particular excel files with code behind it off the network in a normal amt of time (several sec) whereas there are 2 Dell 433c machines that very slowly (1/2 hr or more if willing to wait) open the same network files. They did not have this problem until recently, nothing was added to their machines that would cause this problem. They also have 64mb ram and win98, but one has latest office 2000 software. We all exchange the same files to work on and update with VBA. Any clues?
