I have sl1100 on 4 software with advanced message license. gmail has worked for 2-3 years with no issue. just stopped last week. made a new app password, no spaces, adjusted password, rebooted ksu multiple times. no email showing up. voicemail boxes are filling up fast. I changed DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I even moved PBX to another cable modem router / different network and internet connection. still nothing.

Is there any way to troubleshoot or diagnostic screen to monitor? All I do is leave a voicemail, wait for email and then try again. Reboot and try again.

It's most likely a TLS issue. The SL1100 cannot be upgraded beyond TLS 1.0. It's been EOL and EOD for a very long time now.

Well, it just quit June 18th out of the blue. I have others still functioning ok. Plus sl2100 is same thing and working.

Does the Debug terminal do anything to troubleshoot this?

Hi

This is a known issue and there is a TIB to cover how to get it to work again. See my post in this thread.....

I have the app password all set up. I have had an app password for a few years.

@jsaad

The issue is that because of security changes to G-Mail a normal password will no longer work! Check out the TIB.

Edited to add that one thing that makes it confusing is that not all systems experience the issue at the same time, it may be that there is a timeout on the passwords with G-mail but just look back on the forum and you will see this popping up from time to time, I think the thread I linked you to is still on the front page of the forum and following the TIB fixed it for him.
Edited again as I went to check and yours is the third thread on this in 2 pages (this month) and the thread I linked the TIB to is actually this one...

I realize it pops up often. I made a new app password yesterday and copied it over. No luck.

I suppose I am going to try another SMTP provider, maybe SMTP2Go and see if I can get that to work.

I have a 2100 here in the office I will test it out. Hopefully it works.

Third party SMTP services work. Some have even installed their own SMTP client on a pc.
