Looking for some clarification. I've been reading through the forums and elsewhere, and have come to understand that an IPSec tunnel between the Cisco 831 and SOHO 91 that two offices I manage is possible, as detailed at My question is this: The remote office, which has the SOHO 91, has its Internet connectivity via a Dynamic IP DSL line. Will this allow me to create this tunnel, or do I need to bump this line to a Static IP Address? I'd like to leave it Dynamic if possible, but the solution will force the technology.
Thanks for your help.

Hello...
Take a look at the following link. It should help. Sub Your 831 for the 1750 and yuor soho97 for the 831.

The bad thing about dynamic on one end is when your ISP does address refresh your VPN could bounce. Static IP always preferred for full-time VPN connections.
