Hi SPYDERIX,
the tek-tips logon is working for me!
Nice looking site. I especially like the tek-tips logon.
Not liking the blue links though. Doesn't really fit the rest of the layout.
Here's my deal. I've got a big thing about grammar, probably 'cause my mom's a teacher and really drilled it into me.
I'll focus on the 'webpage.shtml' page
First of all.. My opinion is that when you have a page with lots of text, you should try to break it up a little. Maybe use a few headers with a slightly different colour or maybe bold. I think it makes it easier to read. I find people tend to scan rather than read every single word on the page. They want to find their information and find it fast. Breaking up the colour makes it easier for a title or phrase to pop out at the visitor.
Here's the grammar part...
'We offer:
Web Site Deign (spelling mistake)
Web Site Updating
Web Site Maintaining (maintenance?)
Graphics Design' (graphic?)
'Please contact us to enquire(inquire) about our services.'
'With the seemless(seamless) integration'
'We you come to use for a webpage'(missing letters)
'Do you want movies, sounds, or animations?'(no s with sound and animation)
I think the following line is tantamount to shooting yourself in the foot.
'We ask that you know what you need so as to increase efficiency and help increase the speed in making your site.'
You haven't made any sale, and yet you are making demands to a potential customer. People are going to be turned off.
Also you are asking visitors to think about what they want, and although I agree somewhat, this line... 'Do you want scripting or any server side languages'
...Suppose a restaurant owner came to your site, do you really think he/she will understand that line. Remember there are tons of people that are still clueless about the Internet and Web Sites, BUT they DO KNOW that it will benefit them.
Don't forget that you're the expert, and that you should welcome questions. When they see that you know what you're talking about, -you're building trust-.
Sorry if all this sounds a little harsh.
But you have a good looking site and from one Canadian to another, I'd hate to see it go down the toilet.
Anyway, was up till 5am, getting tired. >Later
