SIP Trunk Registration Tab in SSA 4

Hello,

I am currently in the process of moving all my customers from one SIP Provider to anther.

Currently, they are using the old Provider for inbound calls whiles their numbers are in the port process, and the new provider for outbound calls.

I was logging into their system to check on a few things and noticed the "Registration" Tab was missing on the new SIP Trunk in SSA. It is still working fine. Why would this tab just disappear?

Because SSA is buggy at times. Also, if you don't have "registration required" on the credentials, that tab won't show up.

AACon: Thank you. It was there before. I just noticed it and got concerned because they port over today.

I noticed it on a few other customers as well. Also, they have two SIP Trunks, and I see the "Registration" tab on the other SIP Trunk. Should I be concerned?

Update: All of my customers on this new SIP Provider has lost the "Registration" Tab.

oddly enough, we are the only ones with the "Registration" Tab still there.

The only difference between them and us is, we have a SBC.

They all at one point had the "Registration" Tab - very strange.
 
Does this need to be checked as well?

SIP registrar is to allow SIP devices (Polycom Phones etc) to connect.

The registration tab is only shown if you use registration on the SIP trunk, if you use IP authentication then the registration tab isn't shown as it isn't needed.

Thank you. So I moved 8 customers over from one SIP Provider to another. They are currently using the old SIP Provider until the numbers port, and the new for outbound.

The old SIP Provider still has the "Registration" Tab on SSA

The new SIP Provider had the registration tab on all initial deployments from a few weeks ago. I noticed that they all randomly diapered on the new SIP Provider, however the old SIP Provider still has the Registration Tab viable.

I set up a test SIP Trunk in my lab this morning, and the Registration tab is indeed there. I will monitor to see if that one randomly diapers as well.

As far as Registration, it is not IP Auth:

Registration Tab is where it should be, and how it was on all of my other customers. When I logged in a few days ago, it was gone from every single one of them:

Well, a reboot of the IPO and the "Registration" Tab is magically back. Weird.

Lets see if it sticks around after a few weeks this time.
