SIP DTMF Issue (only on speakerphone)

Called party does not recognize DTMF if the phone is on speakerphone. If the call is initiated by lifting the handset DTMF works fine. If the call is initiated on speakerphone or initiated on the handset and then switched to speakerphone it does not recognize the dialed digits. Odd?

Are you using RFC2833 or inband tones? If inband tones, the speakerphone may be picking up the tone and also transmitting it which is going to distort it.

RFC2833 on the SIP end and programmed in the PBX.

Don't use the speakerphone for now and raise a bug to get it solved :)
