I am assuming we had a power event, and probably through the Ethernet. The IP Office experienced an abnormal termination. SIP had no audio, but copper was working. The next day neither was working. Replaced out the IP Office, still nothing. Rebooted the switch - it never came back. Replaced the switch.

We now have voice over copper. SIP connects, but no audio. The last link in the chain is the Comcast modem. Any ideas?

Yes, reboot the comcast stuff, or replace it.

Replacement is scheduled for this morning.

Modem replaced. Still no audio.

Did you replace the VCM card in the IPO?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Apparently it was a corrupted config file, or a config file that became corrupted at some point after the v9 upgrade.

Restoring any config file post v9 upgrade, even if it worked at the time, resulted in no audio.

Restoring a v8.1 config file fixed the no SIP audio.

I hope this helps anyone that experiences the same, and I thank everyone that offered help.

Could there be a NAT situation going on invites are coming from two IP address?

ACSS SME

No NAT situation. Was directly connected to the Internet.

Hope you have an sbc or something in place for security or your asking for trouble.

So, it'a still directly connected?
Would be better to set up some protection, doesn't have cost you an arm and a leg.
(But failing to do so might)

Kind regards
