SIP Call disconnect

I have a SIP trunk into my IPO and if the far end disconnects, the Avaya phone says hold and plays music for about 2 seconds before disconnecting. What setting would control that? I was thinking of putting 3 seconds of dead air at the start of the MOH wav file and call it good.
