I am now trying to block anonymous inbound calls using the IPO. I know how to achieve this on a PRI or ISDN, however the same codes (! and ?) do not apply here. Anyone done this?
"If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."
add a new SIP URI and enter anonymous in the
"local uri/contact/display name"
Make sure your provider supports "anonymous" option or something like it.
You could change the "outgoing group id" to a different number, then add a shortcode ##N"@xxxxxxxx"
Then when someone pressess ## infront of the number it will sent it "anonymous"

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...
he is trying to block inbound anonymous calls Bas, not send outbound. But also needs it to be exact in the manual, no workaround tolerated, so my solution won't help either.
