Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend a 'graceful' way in which i can 'script' user actions involving several applications, some of which are on different PC's in a networked environment. Currently i wish to perform some actions on an application on one pc and then start other actions on a remote pc on the same network etc. At the moment i do this 'crudely' using mouse and key recorder and a vnc remote control pc client/server tool. If i give you a typical example of what it currently does maybe you could suggest a more controllable way i.e. to be able to handle situations were something goes wrong (if this happens with the recorder it gets out of sync and continues with the sequence of keystrokes regardless and could end up in a mess). Lets say i want to start an application on pc X, issue sequence of actions in this app, wait 10 seconds and if all is well then issue a series of actions within another application on pc Y etc. These would all be controlled from a central pc also within the network. The recorder can seem clumsy at times. I am aware of WSH scripting but would appreciate any advice.

Thanks in advance
