simple simple database need one

Can anyone help me with a really simple database

I need a fair bit of information in it like names addresses date of birth, dates, monies paid, etc.

I have used access but it was already set up and don't feel confident to set up from scratch.

Am just looking for any data base as long as its simple.

Access has quite a few Template databases such as Asset Tracking, Inventory Management, Order Entry, etc. and there are lots more templates on the Microsoft site.
