This is a simple question but can't seem to find the answer anywhere: How do you turn off trunking on an interface on a 2950 switch? I have turned it on on a port I don't want it on on but can't seem to get it switched off. Don't want to have to reconfigure the whole switch but everything I have tried to turn of the trunking hasn't done the trick.

Thanks all

You have a couple of options. At the interface level you can type "switch host", which does a few more things that just turn off trunking. Or, you can type "switch mode access".

As jneiberger said just make the port an access port, "switchport mode access" .
