Hi all,

I am new to V.FoxPro 6.0. I would like to know a simple method to convert FoxPro 2.6 screens to V.FoxPro 6.0.
May i request your help please.

Thanks.
Regards,

It seems to me there is a conversion tool in VFP that will convert a FoxPro 2.6 screen to a VFP form. Try just opening the screen file in VFP and see what it does.

Hopefully that will help until someone who actually knows can answer you. :o)

Mals,
As Ian suggests, VFP does supply a screen to form converter (two actually), but neither will give you a true VFP form that "works". This is especially true if you are coming from an FP DOS screen.

Your best bet is to simply plan on re-designing and recoding your forms. (Or simply running the old .SPRs in the "compatibility" mode, but you won't be able to use any of the new VFP / OOP features.)
