Silent router

How can I make a router silent to the network that will only accept and receive ftp traffic? Will an extended ACL do (permitting only ftp traffic) or will I have to turn anything else off such as CDP and keepalives. I basically want it to be invisible...

You have pointed out what should be done to start. I would keep the keepalives at first. Go ahead and let us know if you have any problem.
