We are currently getting ready to install a new voice gateway (quintum) to our parent company. We currently have a trunk setup to go to our parent company. I was asked what kind of signal we were using, I believe it is a T1, but was asked what kind of t1 (T1 CAS, etc). How can i look into our system and see what kind of t1 we are using. We have a 1000m system. Let me know if more information is needed. thanks.

If you have a T1 the framing is either D4/AMI or ESF/B8ZS. As far as any other signaling you will get that from the trunk such as E&M wink start etc.
LD 22 will give you the framing for the T1 with the CEQU print and ld 20 TNB will give you the signaling for each channel.

T1 framing is set up as ESF AMI Very strange but it is possible to do this.
TRK just means that it is a standard T1 and not a PRI.
EM4 signaling and wink start
That should get them what they need. Be warned they may not be able, willing or knowledgable to go ESF/AMI so you may have to remove and rebuild and have point to point circuit reworked.
