Has anyone used the SIDWALK utility? I am trying to allow the migrated accounts in my new 2k3 domain to have access to the resources in the old NT4 domain. The description of this SIDWALK tool leads me to believe that this is the tool I need, but I can't find any good documentation on this tool. All I find is some command line ref and general description of the tool. PLEASE HELP!

Just enable a trust between old and new domains.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

I have a Trust between both domains, I am trying to avoid setting permissions on every folder in the old domain to match the accounts in the new domain.

Ideally you should have used ADMT then for the migration. This would have preserved SID history and allowed what you were looking for.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
