SIDS not resolving

Hello,
I have an ongoing issue with an off-shore location. There are a total of 5 W2K boxes (authenticating with DC at another physical site across a 512K satellite link). There are a host of issues we are trying to work through at the moment but here is the main one. It seems that SIDS are not resolving to a name. For example, on PC 1 when looking at the members of the Administrators group it lists the local Admin account and 7 SIDS. Can anyone tell me what is going on here and what needs to be looked at? Is the PC cheking in with DNS or the DC to resolve these SIDS? Internet seraches have been fruitless so far. Thanks!

Anyone have any ideas? It looks like the client pc is having issues with connecting to a DC. Is there anyway I can increase the timeout value?

What if you remove the sids and add a domain account, shutdown. Then restart. Does it still list, or does it list the sids. Any idea if there should be that many users/groups in the local admins group? I would also disable any chatty windows services, such as automatic update, messenger, windows time, etc...

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
