If your talking about Domino Server (Dos screen where you can see the mail going through) type EXIT.

sorry, niether solution is what I was needing. I needed a method to shut down notes client through LotusScript in button code. I have found a solution to do this through api calls, but will only work on Windows 98 and NT...maybe 2000. Thanks for your suggestions though.
