shutdown restart problems with ME 1

when i am up and running and try to restart as soon as i hit shutdown the desk top gets fuzzy and the restart/shutdown will not function. pc will shut down using on off button

I agree ceh4702, ME is horrible, my tech friend suggested it since he felt ME would support all my peripherals/devices. Maybe if the rest of my PC worked. I encountered numerous problems, crashes that I hadn't seen since the early days of 95 and the proliferation of CTRL/ALT/DEL..... you make think that revamping the OS sounds like a lot of work but I'd suggest earlier than later, particularly w/ ME.
