Shrink Transaction Log?

Hi

I've just discovered a transaction log backup hasn't been working for a while. Now its working again there's over a gigabyte of unused space allocated to the log. How do I shrink the size of the log, I've tried shrink database but that had no effect?

 
Hi,

I use a really handy stored procedure which I found on another discussion board ( I have pasted the code for the stored procedure below and simply run it against any database where you want to shrink the log (no syntax, just type the SP name in query analyzer)
