I've just discovered a transaction log backup hasn't been working for a while. Now its working again there's over a gigabyte of unused space allocated to the log. How do I shrink the size of the log, I've tried shrink database but that had no effect?
I have pasted the code for the stored procedure below and simply run it against any database where you want to shrink the log (no syntax, just type the SP name in query analyzer)
