Hi All,

We are producing a system using VB 6 and Crystal Report 8.5.
Many users will use the system and the printing of reports could go to Laser or Dot Matrix printers (users choice).

As page widths will differ between printers, is there a shrink to fit option within Crystal, or will another approach be needed.

TIA (Crystal Beginner)

Crystal will automatically resize a report based on the printer driver...if there is a drastic differences in widths then you may have to have rethink the design of the report and optimize on the worst case Jim Broadbent

Thanks Jim,

The difference will range from A4 to 11" by 14" listing paper. I will need to do some testing on the different drivers. Maybe if the reports are printed on A4 landscape when on the Laser printers, there wont be much difference.
