I know in Access, I can go in and compact a database which can take away a huge amount of wasted space. Is there a similar feature in Word?
I have a 37 page document with quite a bit of combo boxes (4 selections each). The document is 1.8 MB! I would really like to get it smaller.
I didn't set it up, so I don't know how the combo's are done, but it may be a value list for EACH combo. That could add alot of space. Can I have a single list, where each combo pulls its values from? Rather than it being static?
This would be similar to the difference between a static value list, or using a query to populate a combo in Access.
I just am not Super-Geek on word like I am on Access.
Any other tips on shrinking the size would be great!
Thanks. Sean.
