Showing Menus after de-selecting "Allow Full Menus"

How do you restore menus after unchecking allow full menus? It is impossible to recheck the box on the statup options section if the selection is invisable.

Hold the "shift" key while double clicking on the file that is locked.

...Just wanted to add one more thing, this works inside Access or outside. Open access and navigate to the file you want to open, or use Explorer to get there, and press and hold the shift key "before" double-click to open the file.
