I have a document with a picture in it. It has to be shown on the page (so that it can be send to customers), but when we print it, we have some times headed paper with this picture in it, so we would need the option to yes or no print this picture.

Is this possible?

In the print-properties you can de-select print-image.

But this is for all the pictures in the document? We only need it for 1

I'm not sure, but is there in the properties of the picture some kind a option to un-check the print-option?

What about a macro that would...

Ask "Print picture?" Yes/No/Cancel
If Yes, print as usual
If No, do the following:
right-click the picture and choose Format Picture
click Picture tab
Change Brightness to 100%
Change Contrast to 100%
OK
then Format Picture
click Picture tab
click Reset button
OK

You can do this for a single picture by enclosing it in a field codes as follows:

{IF{PRINTDATE \@ yyyyMMddHHmm}={DATE \@ yyyyMMddHHmm} "" "Your picture go here."}

inserting the picture in place of the string "Your picture go here."

Pressing F9 or print preview activates the field. The only limitation is that the PRINTDATE field doesn't support seconds, so you might have to wait up to a minute before you can restore the picture's visibility.
