If you open a table in access (or Enterprise manager), should the timestamp field have an entry for each record?

If so, under what circumstances does it get an entry? James Goodman

A SQL Server Timestamp column is updated every time a cloumn is updated. It contains a binary value guaranteed to be unique. Enterprise Manager usually shows <Binary> rather than the actual value. Query Analyzer will return a value. Terry L. Broadbent

I believe that if you link to a SQL Server table with MS Access, it will display the timestamp field as blank.
