should I buy QuickTime?

I want to create a QuickTime tutorial (.mov) like the one that can be seen at

Click on "Patch Tool Basics" to view.

If I purchase QuickTime Pro (the $29 version), can I create similar tutorials and is it relatively easy to do.

Essentially I want to create a tutorial where the viewer can watch my mouse navagation and hear my voice explanations.

Well, I used it when it was called CamStudio, and it did pretty well.
