Shortcut key problem in vb.net

So i have a form with a menu. Some menuitems are assigned shortcut keys. I can use them when i first load the program.
I also have a webbrowser and whenever i load a webpage in it, the shortcut keys on the menu stop working. I tried to do me.focus() but it didn't work everytime. Sometimes i will get my shortcut keys back but most times they don't work.
Any ideas how i can solve this problem?

i just found out that whenever i right click in the webpage, the shortcut key will work but after i left click it will stop..so i guess i can add a click event.
